Varieties of Cucumber For Salads, Not Just For Pickling

Cucumbers are a popular green vegetable which are a favorite ingredient both for use in salads and for making pickles. Lemon cucumbers are rarely available in supermarkets, and are somewhat. Other varieties:Orange cucumbers are a variety of cucumber that is not only orange on the outside, but on the inside as well. This variety is rich in beta carotene, a form of Vitamin A.

 Japanese cucumbers or more broadly, Asian cucumbers, are a variety popular in Japan and throughout Southeast Asia; this variety is often mostly seedless, but not completely so. There are also numerous other varieties of various shapes and sizes, including white and yellow varieties. .
